Privacy Policy
In short: Somatic Flow does not collect, store, sell or share your personal information. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. The little the app remembers stays on your own device.
Who we are
Somatic Flow is a guided somatic meditation app for Android, published by Reliable IT ("we", "us"). This policy covers the app and its information page at somaticflow.reliableits.net.
What stays on your device
To show your session history, the app saves a short record of each session on your device only:
- the date and time of the session,
- the charge area you chose (chest, belly, throat or head),
- the session length and how much of it you completed.
It may also remember your light/dark theme choice. This information never leaves your device and we cannot see it.
To delete it: in the Android app, clear the app's storage in Android Settings or uninstall the app.
What we do not collect
- No account, name, email address or contact details.
- No health, fitness or biometric data. The app does not read sensors, your microphone or your camera.
- No location.
- No advertising identifiers, analytics or crash reporting.
- No data is sold or shared with third parties.
Android app
The Android app contains everything it needs, including all narration audio, and works fully offline. It does not send any data from your device. Android lists the standard internet permission for the app because it is included by the framework the app is built with; the app does not use it to transmit information.
During a session the app keeps your screen awake so the session is not interrupted. This uses no personal information.
Information page
The app's information page (where this policy is published) is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub processes technical information needed to deliver the page, such as your IP address and browser type. We do not use this information to identify you, and the page has no analytics, tracking or cookies. See the GitHub Privacy Statement for how GitHub handles this data.
Children
Somatic Flow is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Health notice
Somatic Flow is a relaxation and body-awareness practice. It is not a medical device and is not a substitute for professional medical or psychological care. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency services; in the United States you can call or text 988.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update it on this page and change the effective date above.
